“A Picture’s Worth a Thousand Words.” – My First Photography
Hi! So I bought a new camera, partly because I’m going on a trip to some isle across the sea, partly because the photography craze has crept up to me through my friends, Jayson and Karen. It’s a Canon EOS Rebel XSi.
I suppose I’ve always wanted to take up photography. When people would take pictures, I’d occasionally catch myself saying (or at least privately thinking), “a little more to the left and this would be a perfect photo”, etc. etc.
Photography would make the blog a lot more vibrant. Visuals are always helpful.
And so with the saying “A picture’s worth a thousand words,” it goes that in certain situations, there’s no poignant way to showcase an idea or tell a story than with a single shot.
I’m new at this photography thing, and so certainly I’m not an expert. Through the times, though, perhaps I’ll learn and evolve into a more precise photographer. I bought this camera case along with the camera, and it’s huge! It literally looks like a lunchbox. In fact, I was at Tim’s at about 5am with my friends. I was wearing shorts and it didn’t have pockets, and so I put my keys and wallet in the case and used it as a purse. Voila! You’ll be seeing me around with the case a lot.
The following are some of the very first photos I took with the camera. Enjoy!
Notes:
The pic with paint on the fence, that’s just a random photo of the carnage my brother had done with his paintball gone. Thought I’d let the world finally know that I live with a beast.
The pic with a T-shaped tower structure, the actual setting was brighter, but I underexposed the shot quite a bit. I just like it that way.

too bad you didn’t have this camera when we were driving to the ex!
Try taking pictures in RAW file format; once you upload them you’ll be able to change the settings to your heart’s desire with programs such as Photoshop. Only problem however, is that these file types take up a lot of room in your memory stick.
